The Empath Oracle Cards

My clients who do not muscle test or dowse often ask me how to get answers to their questions when they feel blocked. Great question. Intuition doesn't always kick in when there is stress or conflict going on.

I love to go to my card decks - I have many - when I want answers for myself. Some of the card decks I use every day and others I use when I'm drawn to them. Today I used The Empath Oracle cards by Steve Wilson & Michelle Motuzas. I simply asked for clarity without being any more specific.

I got the Beginnings card.

When I receive a card, I go to the book that is included to read more guidance about the card. Insight often comes more from the questions that are asked in regards to the topic. My questions today were:

"Am I excited about what can be filling my new beginnings with the love that it deserves? Has my fear  made it difficult to experience a chance at a new beginning? What are my fears about this situation and can I choose to embrace the fear and do it anyway?"

I recently had a reading with a wonderful, experienced card reader. She kept getting the author card for me. My response was, "been there, done that." The thought of marketing, not writing, brought up uncomfortable feelings. Maybe I need to sit with my Beginnings card today and reflect on why I might be avoiding a possible new experience.  Hmm.

Chaos

Today I pulled the Chaos card from The Empathic Oracle deck by Steve Wilson and Michelle Motuzas. Interesting. There is certainly chaos in the world today and I have to ask myself if I am experiencing inner chaos, as a result. I will be considering this today.

Included in the book is a passage for this card:

"Am I free to experience what is offered in this moment of chaos? Or am I hindered by using my energy to hold back the chaos, which holds  all the parts of its wild and energetic abandon? Does the fear of being wild and unfettered cause me to retract into a colorless state?"

Ponder this along with me.
